Former professional rugby league footballer, Billy Slater and his wife Nicole chose Middy's to help them create an eco friendly, smart home with up to date modern technology after a recommendation from their trusted electrician Mitch from Hayes Power. Middy’s TechEnergy and Smart Tech Electrical combined to give the 165 year old Strathmore Hotel a significant technology upgrade. Staff are now able to control the many staging areas of the venue at their fingertips with a fully integrated C-Bus automation system.

Middy's customer, Scott Greatrex (Director, GEN2 Power) owns a remote rural property, one hour from Adelaide. Scott was looking to automate his two-storey home. He wanted to be able to remotely turn on air conditioning prior to arrival and automate the home to meet his family's expectations and to match their lifestyle. The Middy’s TechEnergy team worked with Scott to install a FIBARO Home Automation System. This included Air Conditioning control, SONOS sound system, garage door opener, ceiling fans, lighting and access control.

To assist the amazing team at MDA, Middy’s Energy Smart offered to refit their office in North Melbourne with the latest Omega Greenline LED lighting. Through the kind support of Casey Electrical Services, MDA have been able to lower their monthly expenses, freeing up raised funds to be spent on more important areas of the business.

Middy’s Technologies was approached by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) to provide a residential automation solution for six assisted living apartments in Melbourne. The facility houses a number of residents with acquired brain injuries and permanent physical disabilities resulting from serious road accidents.

With a proven record for success demonstrated in past projects, Middy’s and Nilsens partnered with B&R Enclosures to supply the racks and equipment for the project. The project demanded critical requirements which needed to be considered in the partnership. These included adhering to strict delivery schedules for supply while also maintaining open and consistent communication between all stakeholders in the project.

The Manningham Council offices were gutted by fire and required an extensive refit. The electrical contractors Kane and company worked with Middy's Technologies to design & implement lighting, automation and security systems.

A large holiday residence required automation systems installed. The client was already aware of the Clipsal C-Bus system and wished to utilise this. The contractor Atrics Electrical worked directly with Middy's Technologies to design take offs from plans, and assist with implementation.

The contractor brought their client to a Middy's Technologies Smart Centre where they were shown the various Home Automation products and systems available. This allowed the client to operate the Switches and Touch Screens and confirm choice of styles and colors all of which are on view in working and static displays. Having seen Middy's Technologies' Lighting, Curtain, Shutter, Air-Conditioning, Irrigation, and Audio / Video systems, the client chose to proceed with all systems.
