This Queensland Only course is part of the requirements for people who are applying for an electrical contractor’s licence from the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) to become a Qualified Technical Person (QTP).
This course is a combination of 3 days by Live Web training, online training and practical assessment “on the job” supervised by a Qualified Technical Person.

UEEEL0002 – Apply currency of safe working practices and compliance verification of electrical installations.
UEEEL0029 – Conduct compliance inspection of LV electrical installations with demand exceeding 100 A per phase.
UEEEL0030 – Conduct compliance inspection of single phase LV electrical installations.
Each student must meet the pre-requisites at the time of enrolment. Those holding (for a min of 2yrs) an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence’ or equivalent issued in any Australian State or Territory meet the pre-requisite requirements to be able to apply for their licence with the Electrical Safety Office. Candidates must have a QTP (or equivalent in your state) available for practical sign off.
Candidates can complete our course before their 2 years approaches but they should please keep in mind that they are not eligible to apply to the Electrical Safety Office until they reach their 2 years and hold their QTP Certificate. Candidates must have a QTP (or equivalent in their state) available for the practical sign off.
Students must have their own copy of Australian Standards AS3000 and AS3008.1.1 to be able to complete this course.
