What are RPL and Credit Transfer (CT)?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and credit transfer refer to the acknowledgement of evidence of a participant’s achievement of competencies or learning outcomes. They are processes that allow participants to have their previous learning – both formal and informal count towards qualifications.

Where you have previously achieved competence in the same or equivalent unit in another course you will be credited with that unit (CT). Where you can provide evidence of your prior learning and/or current skills and knowledge you may achieve competence through a recognition process (RPL).

This course includes the following unit competencies:

  • UEENEEK025A - Solve basic problems in photovoltaic energy apparatus
  • UEENEEK035A - Design grid connected power supply systems
  • UEENEEK048A - Install, configure and commission grid connected pv power systems
