Strathmore Hotel Automation Install Case Study

Middy’s TechEnergy and Smart Tech Electrical combined to give the 165 year old Strathmore Hotel a significant technology upgrade. Staff are now able to control the many staging areas of the venue at their fingertips with a fully integrated C-Bus automation system.

Adelaide’s iconic Strathmore Hotel is ideally placed within walking distance from Adelaide Oval, Festival Theatre, Sky City and the Adelaide Riverbank. Recently, the hotel completed a refurbishment to ensure its continued success.

Construction consisted of a complete renovation of the two-storey building including new bars, kitchens, gaming room and outdoor areas, all by Schiavello Constructions. The electrical work was completed by Smart Tech Electrical and consisted of integrating a C-Bus automation system capable of automating entire staging areas including kitchen and restaurant, dining areas, gaming area and more. It also involved a main transformer upgrade, main switchboard and distribution board upgrades and updating lighting throughout.
